I filed for Ch. 7 just recently. I realize I cannot sell any of my personal property during the BK, but am not exactly clear on when it would be OK to do so (I have some old junk I want to get rid of). When is the official 'it's OK to sell' date in the BK process? I assume on the date of discharge. If anyone knows differently, please advise. Thanks.

My attorney advised me to wait until the 31st day after the 341. According to the 341 notice that's the last day for the trustee to object to our exemptions. I posted some auctions on eBay that day and made about $200 for the first round! -
Oh, thank you! That doesn't sound too bad, a few months wait is all. $200 would come in handy about now.
