Chapter 7 trustee's report of no distribution

I have seen the other posts but could not match mine exactly to the others so I am asking this anyway...

I saw where the Trustee did his CHAPTER 7 TRUSTEE'S REPORT OF NO DISTRIBUTION. I was discharged 2 months ago and he gave me my small Federal tax check back. Am I pretty well closed now? My case says Asset: NO now?!

If you are in doubt of your case's status, you could always look at the actual file on PACER and erase any doubts.

sorry, as always I was too cryptic....I got that info on pacer after my attorney's secretary called me to come get my refund at their office. Since my case says no assett now I assume he gave up on all of it. IT says..

You might want to edit your post and remove the dollar amounts.

Because this was listed, I would expect the official closing will be anytime. The Trustee is done with it. Pacer should show a status to tell you it is closed.

Just out of curiousty, what was your "small" refund? I was just curious. I too am awaiting closing pending the distribution of our refund to creditors. It too has been a few months for us.

My refund was a small amount under what the attorney told mew they usually keep.
