I guess it all depends on what you prefer. I grew up in Florida for the most part (moved here at 11 and have lived here except for a couple of years for over 20 years) My Mom loved it Dad hated it. Dad lives out west in middle of nowhere he loves it. When I was in my mid to late 20's I lived in a tiny town in the mountains of NC. That is where I want to be again eventually. I like season changes (something my Mom could never understand).

Everyone has their own preference but for me the mtns of North Carolina is my version of paradise. I remember my first summer there driving to town and almost everyone I past waved. Something that freaked me out a little. Here, at least in the part of Florida I'm in people don't do that. Well when they do it's the one finger wave.

To each his own but hey if any of you live in NC in the mtns and have a home I got one in Florida 15 minutes from beach I'll swap with you in a heartbeat.

Strange. All my friends in NC (Asheville area) and Colorado (Boulder/Denver/Breckendirge/Vail/Eagle/Estes Park)... all love it in Florida. All the Floridians are mesmerized by the Mountains in Colorado, California, and Nevada. Those who grew up on the coastal areas (east coast) are also mesmerized by the Mountains of the West as well as the Beaches of the South.

I guess it's a... "the grass is always greener". However, I do understand Jackdog's passion for the mountains, clean air, and low density populations. While I prefer that, I do like being close to a major city, for services. I think that as we age, we tend to move away from urban centers, and into the wilderness.

Yes...I am in the southern district.

I am all for them getting a little money to wipe out my debt. I just don't hope they go overboard with the appraisal.

Also, How do I go about getting 12 months of statement since all the CC companies have locked or frozen my accounts online. I have thirty days to do this and turn in to the TT.

To get the statements, you need to immediately call up the companies and request that they provide you with statements. Some require this to be in writing, so if they ask for a letter requesting the statements, get them one and fax it ASAP. They will then send you the statements at their own speed, which takes about 2-3 weeks from what I've seen.

As soon as you have contacted all of the companies to request statements, send a letter to the Trustee (certified mail, return receipt!) explaining that you do not currently have the statements in your control or possession, but that you have requested them and will provide them as soon as they are available. Request that the Trustee give you an extention on the 30-day timeframe. Most all of the time, so long as you keep the Trustee advised of what's going on, they have little problem extending their deadlines.
