Hi all,
The main thing they convinced me about is that Sched I and J is no big deal, at least in my court. The lawyers can manipulate the expenses within local custom to accommodate any budget (or at least for those under median, I would venture).
Some expense numbers that they said are okay here in Sacramento, CA:
1000 food for a family of 4 (200-250 a person)
200 for entertainment (includes various things I suppose)
no problem with an eve of bankruptcy life insurance policy, no problem with a $180 cost
no problem with gym memberships (but maybe that's in the entertainment)
All in all, I have few worries now.
I had this consult with a push-you-out-the-door firm that is on my legal plan. I am actually going to go with them because they, like my first very long consult, were certain I am going to have no problems.
hope this info helps,
MMP
