Okay, what am I paying if I reaffirm?

I am going to reaffirm my cars but the paper work that I recieved to do so (from the courts) shows the payoff balance for more than I owe because I have made payments since we filed and the 341.

Am I responsible for this extra balance by signing this?

Do I have the right to call the lender and ask what they are going to stick me with if I sign?

I originally thought it was $1000 difference between what the contract says and what I owe but with current payments it is going to be $1700. I am not happy about having to pay this twice.

If you sign it, you are responsible for it.

Call them to find out how they calculated the balance. They may have added attorney fees to your balance, their attorney fees, not your attorney fees.
