I have 2 accounts with Chase that as of today have been closed. I was told by my attorney that I need to get statements from all my non-exempt accounts. I contacted Chase to get statements for these accounts and was told that I would need to pay a fee of $6 (each!) for them. I mentioned to the representative (actually a "supervisor") at Customer Service that these statements are needed for a court case, but was still denied. I told the representative to send me something in writing saying that I am being denied these statements free of charge.
So how is this going to affect my case? What should I do?
