How long does the bank freeze the account for?

I have a Chase checking account, one personal and another one corporation that I use for my client's expenses.

I need to know once I file BK how long does the bank freeze the account for and what happens to the checks that are outstanding.

I am met with an attorney last week and finally decided to file. Its been a very hard decision for me but my life is totally in chaos over all the bills that I am responsible for with my investment properties.

This site has helped me so much in deciding and getting information.

Will checks bounce if account frozen? If funds are frozen because banks consider it BK assets, then my guess is checks will bounce until Trustee takes action as described in link above.
