    Question

    Hi
I have one question, maybe somebody was in my situation before.I am in Oregon and me and my husband filling soon chapter 7.We have toyota and owe 11500$ but car is worth maybe 9500$.We are current on the payments and we want to keep car.Our attorney said to us,court probably wan't let us to keep car because we owe so much and he advise us to buy another car.I am confused, how to buy car right now because right now we have bad credit
Does somebody was in this situation before?
    Thank you very much

I doubt being upside down by $2K is gonna be a problem.
He probably meant that due to your income the court may not approve a reaffirmation but, you're in the 9th circuit and the caselaw there is, all you need do is offer to reaffirm. The code does not require you to have the reaffirmation accepted.
Just keep paying-I doubt this is an issue.
Can you comfortably afford the payments?
