Plan on filing Chap 7 but issues pop up.

    Good day folks,

Well we were planning on filing chap 7 around August/September. We stopped paying CC's 2/15.

With that being said we just found out we are having our first baby. The baby will be due sometime in December. Should we hold out filing unitl then?

Also we have a car that we are current with payments. When we file do we have to reaffirm or can we ride thru?

    Thanks

    First, congratulations

Are you below the median with your current household size?

Right now with my unemployment ended we are under for monthly, but not 6 month prior.

Then personally, if I could wait it out.. I would wait it out if you will be under the median in six months or after your baby is born. That's just me though

Do you have health insurance that will cover the cost of the baby or not? If not, I would really wait if at all possible.

BTW, great headline...if you meant the pun.
So the poor debtor, seeing naught around him
Yet feels the narrow limits that impound him
Grieves at his debt and studies to evade it
And finds at last he might as well have paid it.

Lol didn't mean the pun! But it is funny!

We do have insurance, when we head to the Ob/GYN in April we are meeting with some billing person that will discuss how much we will owe. No clue as of know though.
