    After chapter 7 help

So I had someone ask me today a question that I know nothing about. After you file Chapter 7 and it has been discharged, say a couple years down the road you are financially stable again. Can any of those debts try to come after you again???

    Absolutely not.

I'm not an attorney. My replies are merely suggestions or observations, not legal advice. As always, consult with an attorney before making any decisions.

Yes, that is right. However, if a debtor forgot to list a debt at the time of filing, he or she could be pursued to pay the debt depending on the SOL (statute of limitation and state where the debtor is from ).

Anyone from this forum, please correct me if I am wrong.

Please think positive and do not give up!

This statement depends on whether it was a no-asset case, and which circuit court the case was filed in. Many courts, (not all) will consider a no-asset case to discharge ALL creditors, whether mentioned or not. (inconsistent rulings on this, so best to list ALL creditors).
