Do I really need a Lawyer

Ok so here is my situation:

This is my first BK, I'm in Southern California and I've accumulated about 32000 in debt between 4 different cc. I have not made a payment since Nov 09. I have no assets except for a car, which should be exempt. I have no secured debt, I'm single and make less than 30000 a year. I spoke to an attorney already who wanted 2000 plus filing fees to process my BK. He also made it sound that my case would be no hassle and one of his easier ones to handle, and I shouldn't have any problems filing for chapter 7. So I ask myself do I really need a lawyer for this. Again I have no assets or secured debts so I don't have much to really file, just the 4 cc debt. Any and all info would be appreciated.

    Thank you,
