    How??

Reading the forum I see some have been able to finance a car right after discharge.

I was just discharged yesterday, called a dealer today. He said he pulled my credit report & it's showing all zero's? Not even a credit score?

So I'm curious to know how some able to finance right away?

I don't think anyone financed with the dealer, not right after discharge. I think you can find loan companies that lend to people after BK but the interest will be high, like 16-29 %. Do a search on here and you will find info and or links.

      OK, I'll check those out.
Just pulled my scores and they range from 540-610.

I got a letter from the "assistant finance director" at a local car dealership today saying she could help us even with an "open bk". I'm more than leery and don't need a car right now. But wow about that public record thing, we just filed last week. lol

Call a few of the biggest dealerships in your area and just ask, they might have some program to deal with bk financing.

Are you really going to ask for a large credit loan right after filing BK. Really. They are going to charger increasable high % rates. Get as much cash as you can and start saving it up for a car fund each month. Yes it might take you some time, but just go out and get a $4k car to get you around.

Be carefully you don't get yourself back into trouble, because you can't file again anytime soon.

          Be safe
This isn't legal advice, I'm in the same boat you are.
