Case CLOSED!!

Well, if you take a look at my signature you will see my stats. On 3/11/2010 my case was officially closed!! The discharge was a relief, but for some reason seeing the word CLOSED seemed to really sink in that I have actually crossed the line and no looking back with peace of mind......whew.

I am thankful, and wiser than 6 months ago for sure. And, I shiver to think the hardest part is to avoid DEBT (want over need) again.

This forum is awesome, and the sad part is watching newbies arriving constantly in fear, and bewilderment just like me. You all are in good hands, and without this forum I would have sunk mentally.

Good luck to those that I respected and got to know here. I will be thinking of you and wishing others success along the way!!

Thank you bktmom28, and LaLady.......I have been away adjusting my life to begin a new start. I come back from time to time, and I will be crossing my fingers as I watch others cross over to discharged and CLOSED!

Thanks to the readers here that took the time to recognize a case that was CLOSED. Mine!! I wish you the same peace of mind, and closure as when you recieve not only a discharge, but to be closed as well.

Don't let anyone fool ya. Most here will tell ya that a discharge is the main concern, and not to focus on the closing because it is just an administrative event.

And, those same people hurried back to the forum when they found out their case closed, and their "followers" flocked to do a dance for them.

I will personally give MYSELF a dance of joy....

Congrats! I have to tell you, when I read the new people coming on board here I surely feel their pain, but I also know they are going to feel so much better having a place like this to come to. I know it helped me tremendously!

I'm awaiting discharge in two weeks and then can't wait for CLOSED!

lol that is wonderful. I can't wait to get to that point. It really gives me hope and assurance seeing everyone's signature with the dates/events they have been through in during their BK.
