    Discharged!!

Question, how soon will I be able to apply for a car loan?
Honda came last night and snatched the car & right after I had it $500 worth of repairs done!!

Was trying to see if I could continue payments because it would be payed off in a yr but their being Real Asses!! They want the full balance in a wk or it'll go to auction. Anything I can do about that? Or just try to get a new car?

    Thanks in advanced!

I am sorry I don't have any suggestions about the car. Were you up to date with the payments? If so, it shouldn't have been repoed.

          Good luck to you.

            Thanks everyone!

So much for t"they don't want your car only the money"?!
And tell you the truth I know my situation isn't as bad as others but I'm feeling REAL PISSED after loosing my ride!! All that money & time down the drain!!
I was originally in a 13 that was later converted to 7 which totally screwed things up with this car.

13 ended back in Dec then the convert to 7. So all that time went down the drain as far as car payments were concerned.

So not up to date on payments.

Now am I responsible for the balance left on the car?

If you didn't reaffirm - you shouldn't be responsible for the remaining balance. If you have some cash, you could try to buy something outright. If not, check with a local credit union for financing. Many car dealerships and Cap 1 also work with people right out of bk for purchasing a ride. Some may require a down payment though.

From my own experience, the local credit union I had never done business with was more than willing to help us out at a reasonable interest rate of 7.19%. I have seen others post that their credit unions required a year to two year post bk before they would approve a loan. It all depends on the credit union, credit score and employment/income.

              Good luck to you.

From 13 to 7 conversion made the payments 7 months behind.
The day before discharge they came and got it.

Called Honda today just to see what the redeem amount would be?

To my surprise it jumped from 6k to 9k??!!
The rep said because of lawyer fees, this fee, that fee etc..

9K I can put down on something NEW vs 03 with 106k miles!

Their taking a hit but I guess they don't care because they wont be getting 9k at an auction especially with the repairs that need to be done!

                      Thank You!

They got relief from the stay, came the night before discharge and that was that.
