I was considering filing Chapter 7 BK pro se, but I've decided I would feel so much better to have the help of an attorney. My case should be pretty simple (no assets and I am well below the median). However, I still am having trouble coming up with the money and need to file SOON.
I was reading in the Nolo book about "unbundled services" where an attorney may help you with some but not all of your case. I couldn't find much about this on the forum, so do BK attorneys really do this? I'm trying to find ways to keep the attorney fees low.
Soooo... any likely chance an attorney would be willing to let me be more active in my case, such as attend the 341 meeting alone or fill out my own petition with some guidance and looking over at a reduced rate (I am ultimately responsible for that information anyways)? I may be going out on a limb here, but I'm just looking for options.
Thanks
