Not without a subpoena. Generally, the Trustee would rather just ask you for the necessary documentation. The Trustee may ask for that information at the 341 Meeting, it just depends how your specific Trustee likes to work.Chapter 7 (No Asset/Non-Consumer) Filed (Pro Se) 7/08 (converted from Chapter 13 - 2/10)
Status: (Auto) Discharged and Closed! 5/10

Music12, that is music to my ears. So far the trustee has not asked for it, and I contacted my attorney to make sure that I did not need to bring any statments with me to my 341, and my attorney said the trustee does not need it....Filed BK7 on 1/16/10:

Discharged 5/17/10 (Fresh Start)

The responsibility of the debtor is to prove that he or she is bankrupt. That might include showing your bank statements to the trustee to prove you're not hiding assets. When people are unemployed or self-employed this is common for the trustee to ask to see these. It's best to comply with the court if you want to get a discharge in your bankruptcy.
