    Double Exepmtions in MT?

In Montana can you claim double the exemption amounts for joint filers? We do not have a wild card exemption, nor can you use Federal Bankruptcy Codes. Montana does it's own thing. I see that some states allow joint filers to each take the exemption. Is the same true for Montana?

From what I can tell and unless otherwise noted in the Statute (MCA), Montanans can double the exemptions provide, if the husband and wife are filing jointly. You would have to read each Statute to see if prohibits a doubling.
