I have a question about amending a petition for CH7. My wife has a teenager that left home for FL, were in AL. After we filed, which was 2/11 we receive bills from a hospitol in FL billed to my wife for service on 2/11. My atty sais we can ammend our return but I am concerned that it will raise and eye brow because of the timing. My wife has contacted the hospitol and they said over the phone that she is off the hook for the bill under the circumstances. What do you think? Would it be best to not ammend as to not raise a red flag in our case?

What is suspect about it? You didn't know your daughter was getting medical care so there is no possible allegation of fraud or bad faith involved.
File your amendment, pay your $26 fee to file an amendment adding a creditor, they'll be sent notice of your BK (you can mail them the notice if you want to be sure), and be done with it.
