We had our first consultation on January 25th, and we went ahead and put a down payment for the lawyer since we really liked him. Since then we have made our final payment and sent in all the required documents the office has asked for. But we have not yet gotten a call for a follow up or even know if we passed to file a C7. The attorney is very good aout getting back to us with questions and he informed us they would contact us regarding the next appointment. I know we were over the median. So this morning I checked my email and got an email from the office of our steps to do our pre-filing course and at the bottom under the paralegals name it says Chapter 7 paralegal. Does that anwser the question we have been waiting weeks to hear? R we passing to file a C7? I wish we could get this thing going it is streessing me out!! And when you throw in a husband, three kids, two repo's and being a full time student I am in real need of a break!!

I would send an email back to the paralegal and ask her to confirm receipt of the documents and advise if there intentions are for a Chap 7.
