    can you cancle reaffirmation??

when i filed my bk, i reaffirm my car loan on the form.
but now i decided that i don't want to keep it.
i have a 09 hyundai accent and i found out that i can still use the hyundai assurance program? (since i filed bk)

    now my question is

if i use the hyundai assurance program does it matter to the court? or the lender?(chase)

also how do i notify the court?

    (i filed pro se)

    thanks for your reply.

When did you file? You have 60 days after the date of filing your reaffirmation agreement or your discharge date, whichever gives you more time.

If both of those dates have passed your only option is to talk to Hyundai to see if they will allow you to return the vehicle without penalty, or keep paying it.

If you stop paying and Hyundai won't allow you to use the assurance program then the car will be repossessed and you will be responsible for any deficiency balance.

      i filed on 2/4 and my 341 is 3/8.
for the assurance i have until july.
so is it better for me to just contact hyundai to take it back?
then to deal with this reaffirm?

also another question is that, people say that the payment history doesn't show on your credit report, after the discharge.

then if i paid all, do i still get the title of the car??

      thanks

If you have the assurance option with Hyundai I would do that if you don't want to keep it.

If you don't reaffirm and want to keep the vehicle you can try to do a ride-through where you keep making the payments even though you did not reaffirm. Once you finish paying you get the title. In most cases as long as you pay on time the lender will not repossess.

if i want to do that ride-through, what do i need to fill out?
or just tell the TT on my 341 meeting?

On your statement of intentions regarding the vehicle you'd check "Other" and put "Retain and pay" in the space available. Note that some lenders and some districts do not allow ride-through and it is really at the lender's discretion.

If you've already filed your paperwork stating that you wish to reaffirm, you can simply ignore any paperwork related to the reaffirmation and it will effectively become a ride-through. You don't need to notify anyone that you've changed your mind and it's not worth paying to amend your schedules.

              thanks for your help.
hyundai assurance says it may take up to 45 days to finalize.
so mean while, i will just pay and return the car back.

              thanks again
