Housing Expenses...Potential Problem?

I just looked up Ohio's IRS standard for mortgage/utilities for a family of 4.

The amount is 1298.00

We actually pay around 1700.00

What possible problems could this pose?

If your mortgage is higher and you are keeping your house (or are current at least at the time of filing), then they will use the mortgage.

Rent, it's going to be the allowance from what I gather.

Yes, we are keeping house. I am filing alone. House is in DH name and we are current.
