Reaffirmed Mortgage

Just called CitiMortage, my favorite customer service center (Not!) to have my online access turned back on. They have received the reaffirm agreement and I have been discharged. I was advised it will be another three to six months before my online access will be available due to an audit that is completed by the trustee and them. WTH??!! This is the first I have heard of an audit needing to be completed due to reaffirming. Just thought I would share so others are aware.

It's strange how I hear about many people having their online access cut off. I didn't reaffirm, and I still pay my mortgage directly through GMAC's website. I'm sure glad I have the option to do that, because that allows me to actually pay on the day it is due versus having to mail a check days in advance.
