Whats next after turning in statement to attorney?

I just filled out all the paperwork and gave my attorney the copys he asked for at the initial consultation what comes next? How long until the actual filing now that the attorney has the paper work and what do I expect now?

Typically, the paralegals at your attorney's office will complete the paper work and call you to come in and review it. Once you've reviewed it they'll make any changes necessary and get it ready to file. This can take anywhere from a few days to a few months, depending on the attorney and the case.

When everything is ready your attorney will electronically file the case at the court. From this point on you can follow the case on Pacer. In some cases you'll get your 341 date the same day, some times it takes a few days.
