Is this normal....on Pacer it says "Financial Management Course Certificate" but when I open the document it's the first 3 pages on the voluntary petition with the date updated to the date that I submitted the certificate. After doing some research, I understand that the actual debtors education certificate is not required unlike the counseling certificate but does form 23 need to be filed with the court. My lawyer sent me an email indicating that it was not necessary to file form 23. Any help would be appreciated.

Whether Form 23 is required seems to be a local rule. My District requires the Form 23 to be filed along with the certificate!Chapter 7 (No Asset/Non-Consumer) Filed (Pro Se) 7/08 (converted from Chapter 13 - 2/10)

Correction. The bankruptcy court clerk just caught the mistake. I'm glad to see they're on top of things. They sent an electronic notice of deficient filing indicating incorrect pdf attached to docket entry. My lawyer promptly filed the actual certificate.Comment
