Continuation of 341..AGAIN

The trustee in my case has posptoned my 341 three times...My first 341 was in December and then he wanted more information from me which my lawyer faxed to him and we were supposed to meet again in early January...then the trustee told my lawyer there was no need for me to show up in court because he received all the information..but he continued the meeting until february...then i just found out on pacer that it says another continuation unteil March...and my discharge date was last week....this is very frustrating....how long can this go on for?

Does your lawyer have any ideas about this? They probably know how this trustee works.

Had a poster here recently that has their 341 postponed like 6 times (it was a very complicated case)!! Hang in there.....

Does anybody know if this effects the discharge date? Does the 60 day wait game start from the initial 341 meeting, or does the meeting actually have to take place before the 60 days begin.

I was informed that my discharge date will not change...I believe the trustee is looking for income in my home...so if what im told is correct..I will be discharged from creditor debt but my case will not be closed until the trustee is satisfied that there is no equity in my home above the exemption amount..

My 341 was today, I have swore in, state my name and address then ask my lawyer for last year tax return and lawyer said he got a copy but trustee reply it's gotta be in his office seven days before the meeting so he just reschuled for next month. I was like what!!!!!!

I called the paralegal and he said it was submitted when we filed last month including my pay stub. Lawyer will write the trustee. As for me, maybe wait for next month. Maybe God has a plan why it was rescheduled......

Question was just simple yes or no...the first guy was given a hard time since he cannot explain what he did with his refund last year. Almost everyone had to be rescheduled. He was also frustrated since everyone did not bring their SSS card. The trustee was nice but just a stickler.

I know, since it was submitted to them who is responsible for making sure they have all the paper work, could it be his paralegal?

Yeah, sounds like someone dropped the ball. I saw this at my 341 and the Trustee had no patience for the attorney who wasn't prepared (regardless of who's fault it was).
