    Suggestions needed please!!

I stopped paying my credit credits in mid Nov 09. I have a 2009 Ford Fusion that I pay 363 a month i'm buying. My credit card debt is approx 10,000 and my car balance is 18,000. I'm alone and live on social security disability and disability pension total of 2750 per month. I filed bk 10 yrs ago with alot of debt from a divorce. I have talked to an attorney and she said I would be ok for chapter 7 but now i'm having 2nd thoughts. Also, i'm 52 yrs old and my credit at this point isn't good.
Any suggestions or has anybody had anything like this

The question is can you pay off both the cc and car debt within the next five years or not. If the answer is no, then chances are you're already in too deep to get out any other way besides bankruptcy.

You stopped paying your cc's four months ago. Your credit score at this point is already in the trash, even if you don't file. And now those totals owed on each are much higher due to penalties and late fees.

Given that you are now in the hole even farther than you were last November and going in farther with every month that passes, what's really making you hesitate to file again?
I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.

    06/01/06 - Filed Ch 13
    06/28/06 - 341 Meeting
    07/18/06 - Confirmation Hearing - not confirmed, 3 objections
10/05/06 - Hearing to resolve 2 trustee objections
01/24/07 - Judge dismisses mortgage company objection
    09/27/07 - Confirmed at last!
06/10/11 - Trustee confirms all payments made
    08/10/11 - DISCHARGED !

    10/02/11 - CASE CLOSED
Countdown: 60 months paid, 0 months to go

I guess it is just my age and 2nd time filing. I never thought it would be this way. Most of my cc debt is from medical and prescription drug charges. I do rent a house and was wondering if anyone could chime in on this- Does my landlord have to know I'm filing bk? He is a real **ick and is the type that would make things rough or make me leave. Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks

Unless you are breaking your lease or defaulting on some bill related to your lease there is no reason to include your landlord on your mailing matrix. While he can find out since bankruptcy filings are public records, unless someone tells him or he regularly checks up on tenants I think you might be able to avoid that issue.
