Does this count after bk ??

Hello to everyone... I've been away for a while, due to my comp decide to take a lonnggg nap ( fried the mother board ) but I've replaced it, now its up an running ( yay) a quick update.. I was discharged on 12/23/2009 whoooo hooooooo Merry Christmas to me and I would have gone out of my mind had i not found this site.. Thank you to everyone who helped me along the way .. ( oh yea, I did end doing a refirm on both my cars )

I have a quick question tho, once you are discharged, and you make your car payments on time, does that company report that to all 3 major credit bureaus ? I really hope so or else not really sure what else i can do to start trying to re- establish credit again ..

Some lenders report reaffirmed debt to the CRA's and others don't report. Call and ask your lender. You may have to speak to the BK dept even though you are discharged.

Hi starting 08.. nice to see a friendly ah chat name lol .. I'll make sure to call them tomorrow.. also how long should i wait to pull a credit report and see whats what on it after the bk ?

if you didn't reaffirm and you're doing a ride-thru, I'm pretty sure they will not report to the CRA.

Hi RainMom!

Wait a month or two after your discharge to check the reports. There are usually a few errors that need correction so don't wait too long because the CRA's don't correct on their own and neither do the vendors.

I did and mine was reporting correctly even before my discharge.

Congrats on your discharge!!

I'm one month post-discharge and my reaffirmed CU auto loan is reporting as IIB with delinquencies (I've NEVER been late...utterly frustrating!). I'm awaiting a response from my CU and I've filed disputes. We shall see.
