I would plan to have 2 years of bank and credit card statements available just in case. If you are unlucky enough to be audited you may need this info.
Well, I did. Every one of 'em. Mostly I remember the last one. The wild finish. A guy standing on a station platform in the rain with a comical look in his face because his insides have been kicked out. -Rick

I had 2 years of everything ready to go. We ended up needing none of it... but it felt good to have things in order.

I provided six months of bank statements and income information. Rounding up BK paperwork was a costly task; and, I wanted to save ink and stay "green".

2 years of everything??? Argh! I have 2 years of tax Returns and W2s and more if they want them. The cc's have all been closed for some time...I printed the most current statements. I have pay stubs from the past 6 months except for a few of my husband's that he failed to give me. But they should get a clear sense with other 9 I am providing. I did a blue book value on the vehicles. and printed our retirement and 401k statements. I think that's it.

I reconfigured our expenses based on what everyone stated, hopefully it makes more sense.

Family of 4-Average monthly net $5894, Northeast OH
Deductions average around 1200 including taxes, dental & life
No house, cars are paid for and not worth more than 6000
I cashed out my 401K in October which wasn't much. Hopefully that won't hurt us. My husband still has his and my new one (new empoyer) only has 500 in it.

You shouldn't have anything to worry about. Your budget will be massaged by your attorney to meet your Chapter 7 needs.
