Well we made the decision to file without an attorney on November 2nd, submitting the mounds and mounds of paperwork. Our 341 was on December 2nd, and everything went well. A lot better than the man in front of us that had two rows of creditors waiting to talk to him...then we had a reaffirmation hearing on the 21st of January and gave back one of our cars because we were upside down by 7 thousand! Then we were discharged on the 2nd of February and closed on the 8th!
Filing pro se was difficult but worth it! I feel like we accomplished a lot through the process of advocating for ourselves! Now we are free and clear, just purchased a used car with cash, and am feeling like the money I am actually earning can go towards something instead of being behind in debt!
