How long for USAA to repo?

So i was discharged and closed on January 11th 2010. I decided to do a ride through with my car through the lender. I was up to date on payments then decided to give up since I was fortunate enough to have my father buy me a new car cash. SO, on Feb 28th I will be 60 days late. I was told by a lady at USAA when the account becomes 60 days late is when they look at the file for repo. When do you estimate they will come and will somebody call me? I have no issues giving the car up.

Our attorney's secretary obtained and provided us with contact information with the lender on the car we surrendered. By calling that person we were able to arrange to turn the car in, rather than wait for a repo guy to show up.

If you do turn the car in, get a receipt with VIN as to where, who, & when it was turned in.

yea i'll probably do that. the rear tires are so bad that the metal belts are showing so it's not safe to drive. also, the exhaust is loud as heck and drives me crazy. I guess i'll call the BK dept tomorrow and tell them i want to turn it in. save the $60 a month in insurance too!
