Had Elmer Fudd understood your income from the early part of the year was what was going to create your refund windfall he may have looked closer at you. He saw someone collecting unemployment and didn't see an opportunity. Perhaps your demure style in front of ol' Elmer threw him off his game.

I don't think Elmer had much of a game. But I agree, I was very demure and deferent in front of him at my 341.

In any case, he has filed his final report which does not include my tax return, so I am beginning 2010 with some savings in the bank.

No, wait...I watched an old CSI:Miami last night where a real estate agent whose biz was going under decided to sell a kidney to raise money fast...let's just say the surgery was performed by a drug-addicted doctor in a makeshift OR in a warehouse...and things did not go well.

I really should start watching SpongeBob or other lighter fare....

Why is it always the kidneys that get sold to raise money? I think people should sell more interesting body parts.

Thanks for the well wishes BananaCabana. I was really waiting for that trustee's final report. Now I feel like it is truly just administrative paperwork before my case closes.
