    Eligible for CH 7?

What is the easiest way to determine if I am eligible for Ch 7?

If you just want to check whether your income meets the qualifications needed to avoid having to do the full blown means test, go to http://www.bestcase.com/OnlineTools/cmiCalc.aspx and it will answer that question. If you make below the median income in your jurisdiction then you should not have much problems filing a chapter 7.
If you are over the median income you can go to NOLO's longer means test .

Whether the debts you're trying to discharge will be discharged in a chapter 7 is a different question. Certain things like judgments for fraud, child support, spousal support, criminal restitution, qualified student loans, and IRS income tax debt < 3yrs old, are not dischargeable but most everything else is.

I am an attorney, but I am just not your attorney.
As such, any statement is not intended to create an attorney/client relationship.
