I am filing a non-consumer chapter 7 due to business debt. I have cancelled all my credit cards and have 0 balances on all credit cards (just discharging investment property loans).
Anyhow, my wife just got a travelocity card to earn points on for travel. I actually signed her up for it....but i did not add myself as an authorized user b/c they asked for my social to do so. Do you know if, post bk, they would add me as an authorized user if they see the bk even though she is the only one responsible for the debt? Or should i go ahead and apply before bk soon? I didn't want them to cancel her card (or mine) just b/c i filed bk...i know i won't get the credit help, but want to be able to use it to accrue the points and just pay off at the end of each month.
Any help?
