I am in the middle of my schooling and going into a program that you can't take a semester off or you will be dropped. I took the winter semester off because I had to wait to be accepted into the program and will start back in the spring. I already applied for the 2010-2011 school year with fafsa and I was told that I need to go to my school and sign a letter stating that I am resuming the program.
I have subsidized and unsubsidized loans through Sallie Mae and a small amount of Pell Grant money towards my tuition. I have been told by my lawyer and financial aid department that they do not think the will deny me but I am worried that I will not have it after I file bankruptcy in about 2 weeks.
Has anyone had a problem, and is there anything I can do to make sure I still recieve it?
