If I did not use all of my wildcard exemption can I not exempt my inheritance up to the amount of left over exemption? my uncle died before we ever filed BK 7.

If your uncle died already, then this is cash, right? Most states permit you to exempt cash under the wildcard, if a wildcard exists. -
Well...the house has not been sold and not to mention any cash. My attorney has said nothing about all of this. I was going to pay bills with the money but I have handicapped children and that is one of the reasons we filed.Comment
