Pre-Filing Question about Pay Advance Income

    Background:
I filed BK7 October 2009 and was dismissed (without prejudice) January 2010 for over-the-median (by only $6,000) "presumption of abuse". The only comment I have on this is that the IRS "magical numbers" do not reflect any individual's actual expenses in the REAL world. I will be filing again at the beginning of September 2010. My question is, if I take a pay advance bonus from work of $6,000 at the beginning of February (to pay for new apartment, new tires, new furniture, deductible for insurance on car accident, etc.), then wait until September to file so that the advance income will not show for my prior 6 months paystubs due at filing, will I be scrutinized for this or will this be a mute issue since they only look at the past 6 months. Keep in mind, because of the advance, my bi-weekly paychecks will be quite a bit less, adding up to my salary for the year. Will they look at my YTD income on my paystubs or only the bi-weekly/monthly amounts? Thank you in advance for your help and insights!
Of Note, some of the money from the pay advance would be for my baby being born this July (crib, diapers, etc)
