    Welcome to the Discharged Club!

    Welcome, Welcome, Welcome!

You have bitten the bullet: you filed. You cried, you paced, you sweated out the time before your 341. You scraped, you scrounged, you did without to come up with the filing fee. You have learned to live on a cash basis. You learned to survive without your daily lattes. You told the PDL places to kiss where the sun doesn't shine. You gave up the upside down vehicles. You cut up the credit cards. You began to answer your phone again with a sense of self-confidence. You welcomed your mail box much like a long-lost friend.

You endured the restless nights between your 341 and discharge. You checked Pacer constantly, fearful for the dreaded "Stay of Relief" petition. You asked questions, fell asleep at the computer reading the bankruptcy forums.

Finally, the day: discharged and now you are here.

    Welcome and congratulations!

    Kam

Ok-I've officially given up on being invited to the 60 Day Club BBQ. If they won't have me, then perhaps the Discharged Club will. I am thinking positive-no I have not officially received my discharge notice, but it will be here soon and I am a week past the deadline for objections... My district tends to update within 24-48 hours of activity, so I am good to go there. (And if the trustee can find assets, more power to him 'cause I have extra wild card exemption I can apply to the first $7,500 or so of what he finds!)

SO... I'm applying for membership in the Discharged Club!

You're not in the club-you have no right to deny me! (Only discharged members can!)

I didn't claim to be discharged, so stop acting like you just outed me.

Besides, YOU are the one causing the trouble, discriminating against me because I'm beyond my 60 days. I think you are just jealous.

That stupid Trustee will not close my case....... has put it on hold - guess he thinks I might SUE SOMEBODY, HUH!!!

HE'S RIGHT, and he's standing there waiting to see if he can get a "bite" of it too..............

NOT ON HIS BEST DAY!!!!!! I might even include him since he sold stuff that was not in his petition with the court to sell............... STUPID MOVE ON HIS PART!!!
                          NOT VERY BRIGHT!!!!

Is their a club for LIMBO'S??????

My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different.

FACT: You are not discharged, or waiting for discharge, so you cannot say who can and can't be in the discharged club. Kind of like a fraternity-if you walk by one everyday, you don't get a say in who pledges.

The US Trustee has no interest in me. Perhaps you hear him typing a motion on YOUR case. Hmmm?
