Just checked pacer today and it shows DISCHARGED
I guess this events are not as earthshattering to me as others, but I credit that to this forum either by reading other posters experiences or posing my own questions.
The thing I am happy about is that I have 2 FULLY PAID OFF cars (a 1999 Buick with 80K miles that cost me $2K and a 2004 MPV with less than 85K that cost me $5K) purchased via Craigslist.
With a six figure income, and expenses drastically cut down during the BK hunker down period, my savings rate has shot up astronomically. Strangely, I'm not looking to becoming a homeowner, since I've been one and the carrying costs did not financial sense. I have other ideas now, while letting someone shoulder the issues of home ownership...Good luck to others in the journey, crappy credit score does not scare me anymore.
