I think I am Close!

Today, for the first time, I got on PACER. When I hit 'query', I saw at the top:
Date filed: 11/15/2009
Date of last filing: 11/19/2009

The date of last filing was the day after my 341.

341 went well...I was #6, started at noon, and I was on the street 6 floors down at 12:17! TT was very pleasant, and sympathetic to my joblessness. I am in Ca Southern District. There were ~85 other cases heard that day.

I am ready and waiting, and only the thing better than this fresh start will be full time employment. I'm one of the over 62,000 Ca unemployed who've had their UI benefits mishandled by some software error since 12-19. But the rice and beans will get washed down with an old bottle of Veuve Cliquot Ponsardin champagne left over from my restaurant days.

This site has been like a giant 'chill pill'!! I can't thank you all enough for providing timely and relevant information that kept me grounded and sane. Chapter 7 is NOT the end, but a wonderful beginning, and I WILL learn from my errors. Repeating is not an option!

I am in San Diego as well. Glad to hear things are going well for you. I thought filing was the worst thing in the world, but now I feel good. I look at it as a fresh new start and that everything is going to be okay. I am very positive now. Here's to bigger and better things to all of us!
