Credit Report

I just start preparing paperwork for Chapter 7. I pulled up my credit report from Transunion. I need to find the creditor and collection agency so that I can include them in the creditor matrix. However, in my credit report, it's only show the info about the creditor but not the collection agency. So how can I find out who own my CC debt now?

In my credit report , my acct with Capital One. The pay status show that "Charged Off as Bad Debt". In the Remark, it shows "Purchased by another lender". And "Estimated date that this item will be removed: 08/2013". So does it mean that by 8/2013, the debt will be removed and I will not be responsible for it?

I suspect it's talking about when it's no longer on your credit report, not when the debt is gone.

Could you ask the first creditor to whom they sold the debt? Or maybe check your report from one of the other credit agencies.
