Hi-
I filed chaper 7 no asset. I have stock options from work that weren't worth much money ($17k). My wife and I were able to exempt them with our wildcard. At our 341 we were told my wife could not exempt my options as they were only mine. That seems crazy since if we divorced they would be half hers. Anyways, there is a hearing coming up and I wondering if it is worth arguing at all. My lawyer doesn't seem to have argument, but that may be because he's already paid.
Has anyone dealt with wildcard exemptions not being shared?
