Okay so I filed on the 2nd of November, had 341 meeting on December 2nd. Just got information about reaffirmation meeting. we decided to rescind our reaffirmation for one of our cars and pursue the reaffirmation agreement on the car that we owe under book value for. I sent a letter to the creditor and the court, also phoned the creditor as well. They said they would contact me regarding surrendering the vehicle.
I checked on PACER after reading about it here and all documents are posted, and some items are terminated (I think these are things taht I had to fix or correct or something like that). I am planning on paying my court fees the end of this month (they are due by March 3rd). So far all that I have heard after 341 meeting is for the reaffirmation hearing with the judge...
Does it appear that things are running smoothly? I am interested in getting a second car and am actually speaking to a lending representative tonight that does loans for people who are in chapter 7, I just want to see what she says, if it is a bad deal I will just wait for 2nd car until tax return when I can just buy a car...
Any suggestion, thoughts, etc.
My husband and I are currently living with family until the end of this month. I also heard that if you rescind a reaffirmation agreement it may push you into a chapter 13, after rescinding the agreement we are only positive 200, with low calculations for the schedule J anyway... that does not include our new rent that will be starting next month.
Thanks! We are pro se in state of Washington, just trying to get everything done and tired of stressing over it all!!
Thank you so much for all your help already!
