I am getting ready for amending my schedule j. My mom who can't I claim as a dependent on my taxes because she is not a resident in this country. But I support her monthly, can I claim her on schedule j: Payment for support for additional dependent not living at your home? I will put 100 a month, i can only document that amount. Not even sure if I can.

Yes you should be able to amend that, if you filed with a lawyer ask his advice on it and see if the court allows it. Otherwise might adjust food or something else the 100 dollars and let that float if it will
