    Case update

My last day for creditors to file a proof of claim on my $1,000 asset case was yesterday. I checked pacer just now, and there were two new documents filed. One was a notice from the trustee for professionals to get their fee requests in because a final report is going to be filed and the other document was this.

Notice of Intent to File Final Report Filed by Trustee xxxxxx. (Entered: 01/14/2010)

I think that means I am going to have my case closed soon!

I would love some opinions as to what these docket entries mean.
You can't take a picture of this. It's already gone. ~~Nate, Six Feet Under

They're both self explanatory. Good luck!
Well, I did. Every one of 'em. Mostly I remember the last one. The wild finish. A guy standing on a station platform in the rain with a comical look in his face because his insides have been kicked out. -Rick

You got it right. However be patient, we still waited a month longer before the Judge come around to the close. First the lawyers need to be paid and what is left out of the piddly 1k is disbursed. Mine went all to IRS. Then the close. 'Hub
If I knew it all, would I be here?? Hang in there = Retained attorney 8-06, Filed 12-28-07, Discharge 8-13-08, Finally CLOSED 11-3-09, 3-31-10 AP Dismissed, Informed by incompetent lawyer of CLOSED status, October 14, 2010.

If I remember correctly, BTS's only involved professional was the trustee himself, Elmer Fudd. I reckon he's waiting for himself to submit his bill.

Thanks 2manybills! I will be so glad to see that "closed" flag when it finally shows up in pacer!
