    Forclosure on CR

Mortgage was discharged in BK two years ago shows zero balance on CR. Have been paying since discharge but now we will stop paying and walk away. How will this be reported on CR if at all?

If you did not sigh any paperwork after filing for reaffirming the debt or some sort or refiance deal your Credit should be unaffected.

However there will be public records, outside of a credit report, that mortgage lenders can access to find out if you have been foreclosed on. These do not affect your credit an any way as regards to a credit caard, car loan or anything else besides a house loan.
    3/2/09- Filed: chapter 7 / No asset
4/1/09- 341 Hearing: 1 creditor showed up Got to love family feuds
4/2/09- Trustee Report of No Distribution Filed
    6/24/09- Discharged and case closed

So the "public records" portion of the CR will show a BK and a foreclosure. Correct?

No on the CR it will show IIb, included in BK.

The other records I was talking about have nothing to do with a credit report.
