    Some of you may know i have been hanging around here way too long aging my sins. today i paid my $1K retainer, and plan to file this month. got a hell of a good attourney, but pricey at $2800, but it's worth the piece of mind knowing this guy doesn't get challenged by the UST. i'll be joining the club soon
    Stopped Paying CC's 2/2009. Retained Attorney 1/10/2010 Filed 1/23/2010. Discharged 5/19/10 $187K CC, $240K 2nd,$417K 1st, No asset Ch-7

      Congratulations! I know you have been planning for quite a while....it will pay off in the end with a very smooth BK for you.

                  Looks like we are in the same district so far the court was so crowded as others have told me. I filed in 1/4/10 then I checked PACER from 12/31 - 1/05/10 there were almost over 400 filed in our district....my goodness we were hit so hard by recession.

                        Thats good. Hope to fly right through. Att told me there are 9 panel trustee's now in our Dist. Court

                          An Atty. I spoke with said there is a 6 month backlog in Orange County CA courts.

                              You know, it really does. I have biting my nails for a year thinking about the UST. This guy said dont sweat it, thats what you pay me for, to make your numbers sail right through.
