Wish me luck! 341 Tomorrow morning!

My wife and I have my 341 in Boston tomorrow and are nervous as all heck. Our attorney is going to be there, and she told me not to worry about tomorrow, but I fear the uncertainty. I'm thinking it's a no asset case, since we own no property, but a 1995 mitsubishi. We owe about 60K in debt and made 45K last year. Should I worry, or would this just be a 5 question thing???

Worrying about the uncertainty is normal. Not much you can do about it but just tell yourself that it will be ok. It'll be over before you know it and you will wonder why you were so racked up about things. If your meeting is later be sure to go a few hours early to sit in on a few before yours. That helped calm me down and see the pattern of my Trustee.

Just make sure you take that car title with you. I seen alot of people that owned cars getting asked for that at my meeting. The Trustee just looked at them.

I wish you well. I know that your are worrying but you wouldn't be human if your weren't. I can't say not to be nervous because my 341 is next Tuesday and just the thought of it makes me nervous. I can say that I have heard some good stories hear regarding the 341 which makes me think it can't be as bad as we think. Please report back with your experience. the 341 meeting is most likey going to be the most enjoyable part of your entire bankruptcy. you will feel great relief once its over. the trustee treats you very nicely and everything is very simple, calm and easy. its a formality only.

We had our 341 last Thursday and I was the only one that the Trustee asked anything of other than the standard questions. I really was kinda proud of myself. Told the truth is a loud clear voice, didn't back down, just answered his questions. It prob means that I'm going to lose a $3200 check at the end of the month and possibly $13,000 a year from here on, but 2 other attys guaranteed me that I would lose it, and my present atty thinks that I can get to keep at least some of it. Time will tell. Hate to lose the income, but had no other choice.
Dress is casual. Business casual is what we wore and we were better dressed than most.
We were told to bring only DL and SS card. People who had things missing were given a certain amount of time to get them to the Trustee.

I agree with that... my two hour ride back home had to be the most pleasant car ride I ever been through... even in the thick Detroit traffic
