Home Business Furniture - Tools of Trade?

I have a home business.... graphics design.... i get a 3k exemption for household goods and a 3k exemption for tools of trade... can i claim my desk under tools of trade...otherwise, it will send my household goods over the limit by about 1k... in fact, can i just claim all my office stuff under tools of trade....
