How can I fix this Student Loan Issue?

I didn't include "Student Loan Account" in my ch7 petition per my attorney's advice.

However, the studen loan account is shown as "IIB" and "Derogatory - Balance $0". There is a credit card account with the bank that's why they applied IIB to my student account as well.

I know it's wrong since the student loan won't be discharged.

Will it return to the normal account when my case is discharged? or I need to dispute this through three Credit Bureaus? (The account is current though)

There is a co-signer for this student loan account so I don't want to hurt his credit due to this issue.

Is there any similar experience or way to fix this problem? Thanks in advance.

Technically, it is NOT WRONG. Even though your student loan is not discharged in BK, it is still accurate to say it was included in bankruptcy. The co-signers credit should not be affected, but if the BK remarks end up on that persons credit report, they would need to dispute the entry on their credit report.

Also, I wouldn't worry about it too much anyway, student loans have a minimal impact on your credit score. Reason being, your credit worthiness has nothing to do with your ability to get a student loan. So the FICO people do not meaningful calculate a student loan into your credit score.
