341 tomorrow

I am very nervous/anxious. I am ready to just get it over with. I am supposed to be there tomorrow at 1:30. Hope everything goes as smooth as possible.

Its a nervous deal but dont stress once you get out of the hearing you will be like wow that was it?

As long as you are comfortable with your figures and your petition, don't stress.

If you think anything might be an issue, have a brief answer in your mind. In fact, think of brief answers to all the standard questions. Also have a one sentence answer in mind for "how did you get here?" My trustee loved to ask that one. The first person I saw simply said "Poor use of credit cards." That's me, so that's the answer I gave, too.

Get plenty of sleep the night before. Arrive 20-30 minutes ahead of time. Scope out the restrooms. Bring something to read.

The only ones I saw grilled were people who were obviously trying to hide something or who were pushing their exemptions.

I just finished my post filing financial course and have to say that it was much more painful than my 341.

You'll be fine as long as you are truthful not trying to pull one over on the trustee.

i do agree that i was nervous too for my 341 but there's no need to be. it was like a 2 minute interview. state your name and address for the record a few yes/no questions, any creditors present (apparently not), goodluck to you. OVER!
